LIMITED WARRANTY

 

PCAR Products warrants, subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein, the product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) year from the date of purchase. In the event of a defect in material or workmanship PCAR Products will repair or replace the unit free of charge.

 

Conditions:

This limited warranty is void if:

1. The unit has been tampered with, disassembled, altered, or modified any way.
2. The unit has been subject to accident, misuse, abuse, fire, flood, etc.
3. The unit has been installed and/or operated in a manner not in accordance with the Instruction Manual. 
4. The serial number on the unit has been altered or removed.

Exclusions:

The limited warranty does not extend to normal wear and tear, regular product maintenance, battery replacement or battery leakage .

 

Delivery:

To obtain warranty service, obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number from PCAR Products and return the unit freight prepaid to PCAR Products. Mark the RMA number on the outside of the package and include inside along with your name, address, phone number, proof of purchase and a description of the problem. PCAR Products shall have no liability for loss or damage in transit of items returned to us. PCAR Products will not reimburse for service provided by others.

 

Proof of Purchase:

This limited warranty is extended to the original purchaser and applies to the product from the original date of purchase. The owner must furnish proof of original purchase date.

 

EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHETHER ARISING BY LAW, BY STATUTE, BY COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, MERCHANTABLE QUALITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE DISCLAIMED. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL PCAR PRODUCTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY AMOUNT GREATER THAN THE ACTUAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT OR FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SUSTAINED IN CONNECTION WITH SAID PRODUCT AND PCAR PRODUCTS NEITHER ASSUMES NOR AUTHORIZES ANY REPRESENTATIVE OR OTHER PERSON TO ASSUME FOR IT ANY OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY OTHER THAN SUCH AS IS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS.
